Ingredients:

  • 300 g steak
  • 4 handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • ½ red onion, finely sliced
  • 10-12 button mushroom, sliced
  • ¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp thyme
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

*for 2 serving

 

Instructions:

  1. Heat the cast-iron skillet and season the steak with black pepper and salt and cook for about 6-8 minutes. Set aside. 
  2. Saute the mushrooms with 1 tbsp olive oil in the same skillet.
  3. Whisk the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt, and pepper to prepare the dressing. 
  4. Slice the steak into thin slices.
  5. Mix the spinach, onions, and red pepper in a mixing bowl. Pour the dressing over it and mix well. Make sure all ingredients are covered with a dressing. 
  6. Place the salad base on a plate, and top with the cooked mushrooms, grilled steak, and crumbled feta cheese.
  7. Bon appetit!
