Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a rimmed baking sheet and wire rack. Lightly grease the rack.
Mix the ground beef with the salt, pepper, and spices in a medium bowl. Divide into four equal portions and pat each portion into a thin round patty.
Place an egg on top of each beef patty. Spread the beef like a blanket over each egg, shaping it with your hands, and pinching together the areas that come apart until the egg is completely wrapped.
Place the beef balls on the prepared wire rack. Cook until the outside is browned, about 20-30 minutes.
