Lentils Bread with Walnut -

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lentils, soaked overnight
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 4 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons low fat cottage cheese
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, chopped
  • ½ tbsp of black and regular sesame seeds
  • 8 halves walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons oats
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Sesame seeds for topping

 *for 10 slices

 

Instructions:

  1. Drain the lentils soaked overnight.
  2. Blend the drained lentils, eggs, yogurt, and olive oil until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Add all other ingredients to the blended mixture except sesame seeds for topping and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/355°F for 25 minutes.
  6. Slice the size you want and serve.
  7. Bon appetit!
