Basic Chia Seed Pudding

Course: Breakfast/Snack/Dessert

Soak Time: 60 min

Servings: 2

 

  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
  • ½ tbsp maple syrup, honey or sweetener of choice
  • +Toppings of choice: fresh berries or other fruit, granola, fruit puree, chocolate syrup, nut butter, etc

METHOD

Step 1

Stir together chia seeds, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla in a bowl or mason jar. If you’re using a jar, you can put the lid on and shake the mixture to combine everything.

Step 2

After the mixture has been well combined, let it sit for 5 minutes, give it one more stir, cover, and put the mixture in the fridge to "set" for 1-2 hours or overnight.
