Baked Banana Walnut Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • Walnuts (1 oz/ 28 grams)
  • Oats (1 cup old fashioned)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Banana (1 medium)
  • Lemon juice (1 tsp)
  • Honey (1 tsp)
  • Coconut oil/ olive oil (1 tbsp)
  • Vanilla extract
  • Egg (1)
  • Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
  • Baking powder (1/2 tsp)
  • salt

METHOD

STEP 1:

Preheat oven to 350F.

STEP 2:

Chop the walnuts and add them to a bowl. Now add other dry ingredients such as oats, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon. Keep it aside.

STEP 3:

Mix banana with milk and lemon juice, egg, honey, and vanilla extract in another bowl. Wisk it well until they blend smoothly.

Step 4:

Now add in oil. Combine milk mixture into the dry ingredient mixture. Mix it well and pour it into the prepared baking dish.

Step 5:

Bake for 30 minutes or until it is cooked. Serve with warm milk if you like.
